This is rather a unique book.

The stories which you find should be read emerging them into the reality of your own existence, in this way, they are brought to life and made vibrant. They are “open” stories, through which every one of us can find tools to observe him or herself and objective reality.

They belong to a type of narrative which is unusual for contemporary man, leading us back to ancient myths, to parables, to epic stories, to fairytales, a type of narrative which, through the rich symbolism of the stories, the reader gains, not only a rational understanding of reality but above all, an emotional one.
The aim of this preface is to help the reader find cultural reference points, but the stories only really come alive if they are understood.
They can be read all in one go, as they can be considered an entity, an evolution in the readers capacity to understand and contain a vast quantity of experiential information.
This is also a book which can be read slowly and taken up again frequently. It would be interesting for the reader, who begins to comprehend the wholeness and unrepeatable quality of the present, to go back to consult the stories, thus, forever discovering new meanings.

Every time a story is reread, we dip into the present which is always different and inevitably something new happens. In this sense, the stories are open, in a continual state of change and transformation; they are not facts from which we should draw solemn conclusions, but an opportunity to follow a sense of becoming and of flowing change, peculiar to human beings.
